Solution Description:

3rdiTech, Inc has developed an in-pixel amplification technique that allows the improvement of dynamic range of a standard CMOS Sensor by 100%, to allow day through night imaging using a conventional, low cost and SWaP optimized CMOS Sensor to see up to 1100 nm or 1 milli lux of light, at very high frame rates. This enhanced CMOS Image Sensor would greatly enhance current Electro Optical Imaging Capability of DoD and Commercial Satellites by providing cost effective and advanced capabilities for operational domains where there is very low light available in the ambient environment. This includes high-speed low signal environments like Lower Earth Orbit (LEO) ISR Imaging.
