Solution Description:
Global, near-real time indications and warnings form the foundation of persistent situational awareness. Implementing persistent, global situational awareness (SA) requires a resilient, redundant space remote sensing layer. EOS SAR changes the paradigm for global persistent situational awareness with a low-cost remote sensing constellation architecture exhibiting improved resiliency, redundancy, and effectiveness over traditional space ISR strategies. EOS SAR provides overhead SAR imagery with unprecedented high-resolution, low-latency, high-availability, timeliness, and reliability. EOS SAR leverages results from three years of self-funded technology development to build and deploy novel, near-exquisite earth-imaging (0.25 m ground res, NESZ < -20 dB) synthetic aperture radar (SAR) sensors suitable for proliferation in LEO satellite constellations. EOS SAR achieves a dramatic reduction in SWaP-C and significant performance improvements over traditional approaches to space-based SAR payloads, thereby providing the greatest flexibility for launch and replacement in a constellation architecture, ensuring globally persistent and resilient ISR capabilities. EOS is venture capital backed, well capitalized, 100% American and has a profitable commercial mission. EOS will publish a representative SAR dataset for customer validation during Q4 2020. EOS will launch the first SAR satellite in 2022, with full constellation operations underway in 2023.Learn More
