Solution Description:

PIXIA’s Input/Output (I/O) engine indexes geospatial data temporally and geospatially at very finite levels so that every pixel, voxel, or frame can be retrieved quickly and independently of the full-rate sensor stream. Users or algorithms can process only what they need from massive sensor data sets. Specific portions of full sensor streams can be processed as they are needed. For example, if an algorithm detects a potentially threatening vehicle (e.g., missile launcher) from a high-resolution sensor, it can forward just the key frames of the sensor feed to users or to supporting platforms in near-real time. This frees up tremendous amounts of bandwidth and focuses users on the right data at the right time. Because PIXIA is hardware agnostic, we integrate with existing and future infrastructure. This provides significant flexibility to support a wide range of sensor vendors and compute environments. PIXIA supports multiple operating systems (OSs) and databases. It is also cloud agnostic with solutions across many of the existing cloud platforms. Because PIXIA indexes data immediately as it comes off the sensor, it is exposed and available in near-real time.
